Canadian Wildlife Small World Play
🇨🇦 Canada's birthday is just around the corner, so we created our own Canadian forest habitat 🐻🦊🫎🪵🦫🦉
🌿 We went on a nature scavenger hunt! 🍃🪨🌼
Today we headed out on a nature scavenger hunt to see how many treasures we could find! We matched each real nature item to its scavenger hunt card. Then we headed to COBS Bread 🍞 for a donut treat for all of our hard work 🍩 We also picked up some yummy pizza 🍕 croissants for today’s lunch! 😋
🐸🌿💧 Nature is always part of our adventure to the splash pad! There's a pond along our route and today we could hear a frog calling. The children love stopping to look for creatures in the water. 👀🦆🐟 Wyatt thought he spotted some guppies! 😊
💙 Happy Father's Day from Caterpillar Clubhouse Daycare! 💙
Our little ones worked hard to create personalized gift baskets for the dads and grandpas they love. Each basket includes a fun Dad vs. Kids Dare Squares game to help create new memories together, a fingerprint keepsake dice made from the children's own fingerprints, a special questionnaire answered by the children, and a personalized photo visor clip for Dad's vehicle.

Carefree park days 🏞
While playing at the park, we watched a tree crew safely remove a large tree and saw the wood being chipped into tiny pieces by a giant wood chipper truck. We also spotted a family of geese enjoying a swim in the pond 🌳🦆
🚑 A Special Visit from the Paramedics! 🚑
Today at playgroup we had a very exciting visit from our local paramedics! The children had the opportunity to see an ambulance up close and learn about some of the equipment used to help care for people ❤️🚑
I picked up this cute days of the week board over the weekend 😊
Looking forward to the children updating it each day and learning the days of the week together!
A lavender bubble bath for our babies, potion play, and lots of water activities out in the yard this morning! 💜🫧☀️

We had to stop and appreciate the lovely view on our walk today! 🏞️ We were also pretty excited to watch a tractor mowing the grass at the park! 😄🚜
This morning we took a nature walk to collect fresh dandelions to use with our homemade dandelion playdough 🌼💛
