Growing Lima Beans 🌱

We are exploring how lima beans grow from seed to sprout! 🌱

Today we germinated our beans using wet paper towel inside jars. The children are excited to water them and watch the changes over the coming days.

We used visuals to learn about the different stages of a seed and will continue exploring the different parts of a plant as they grow 🌿😊

Forest Morning 🌳

It was such a beautiful day to explore the forest 🌿 Collecting sticks and branches, playing tag and hide-and-seek and watercolor painting our lanterns together in nature 🌎 (and of course a little puddle jumping 😊) A great way to end a very rainy week!

Exploring the Nature Museum

We spent our morning exploring the Museum of Nature 🌿

We especially loved the bug exhibit 🐜, getting up close and learning about different insects. The big dinosaurs were also a big hit! 🦖

We started our day with an egg hunt, decorated our own eggs to take home, exchanged treats with friends and colored the icing on our peep cookies to finish the day 🍪😊
