Today we practiced cutting “grass” in our bug sensory bin using scissors to support hand strength and control. We also worked on filling our bug jars with stickers ✂️🐞

We have been checking on our seeds daily and we’re now starting to see roots and tiny shoots emerge. 🌱😊

Growing Lima Beans 🌱

We are exploring how lima beans grow from seed to sprout! 🌱

Today we germinated our beans using wet paper towel inside jars. The children are excited to water them and watch the changes over the coming days.

We used visuals to learn about the different stages of a seed and will continue exploring the different parts of a plant as they grow 🌿😊

Forest Morning 🌳

It was such a beautiful day to explore the forest 🌿 Collecting sticks and branches, playing tag and hide-and-seek and watercolor painting our lanterns together in nature 🌎 (and of course a little puddle jumping 😊) A great way to end a very rainy week!
