Welcome to our blog!
After 12 wonderful years, our original Facebook page for Caterpillar Clubhouse Daycare has been hacked and unexpectedly been taken down. While we’re sad to see it go, we’re also excited to be turning the page and starting a fresh new chapter! 📖✨
We’ll soon be sharing updates, photos, and all the fun from our clubhouse in a new blog format right on our brand new website! 🐛💻
Thank you for your continued support and for growing with us over the years. ❤️
Fresh air, sunshine, bubbles and a spontaneous Wednesday BBQ lunch in the backyard because why not 😂☀️🫧🍗
Music class outside ☀️
Today we explored a thunder tube ⛈️ We loved the sounds and vibrations that this instrument made! 🎶
Found these beautiful bangles for our mug tree at the Great Glebe Garage Sale this weekend 😊 I’m always hunting for little daycare treasures! ✨
Child-led nature based sensory play 🪵🪱
This morning we used grabbers to collect worms for our nature table, then went on a walk to pick fresh dandelions for a batch of dandelion playdough (after the flowers we picked last week wilted before we had the chance to make it) 🌼
The worms were a big hit! They even got to go down the slide 😅
Dandelion Days 🌼💛
A beautiful spring morning filled with dandelions, tree climbing, playground fun, and nature discoveries! 🌼🌳
We collected lots of dandelions to whip up a big batch of dandelion playdough 😊
It's finally water play season 🌊
Every year I tell myself I have enough water toys and won’t buy any more 😂💸 Yet somehow by May I already had boxes of new toys piled up in the basement waiting to be opened 😅 I was up bright and early getting everything set up for water play this morning 💦
So excited for warmer weather so we can use our new water ways💧 Such an open-ended toy that we can use all summer long! We also received these darling flower bowls to add to our mud kitchen 🌸😊
Happy Mother’s Day 🌸
Wishing you all a day filled with love, appreciation, and a quiet moment to relax 💛
Today Wyatt brought his bug catcher to share with us, so our morning turned into an exciting little bug hunt through nature trails 🐞🔎
(We found lots of creepy crawlies to add to his collection… sorry Mom 😅)
This morning we visited my son Bentley’s school for their 50th anniversary open house, then made a stop at the library 🙂
